“The Hum of the Silver Ship” features another very psyched out synth line that I believe works well with the song and generates the sci-fi tone I was going for. There were supposed to be vocals to this song but I never felt comfortable enough singing them for some reason. The subject of the song was about a crew member on a spaceship talking about falling asleep to the hum of ship’s engines on a trip to the “Sentient Star”.
